Why does Chef in Tahoe quote an estimate, rather than an exact price?
Chef in Tahoe does not cut corners. We ensure that your meals are prepared with the highest quality ingredients possible. Sometimes, due to seasonal goods, ingredients cost more than other times of the year. Until we do the final shopping, there is no way to know an exact price.

What if my guest count changes?
All Chef in Tahoe requires is a final head count prior to shopping. We understand that sometimes, unexpected guests get added to the list. Chef in Tahoe will do all we can to accommodate your party needs. Please be advised that as the guest list grows, so does the grocery bill. Prior to shopping we will make a final "head count" phone call. Any changes after this will need to be relayed to us as the event approaches.

Chef in Tahoe will do everything in our power to carry out your planned event. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control sometimes get in the way. Should circumstances beyond our control get in the way, Chef in Tahoe will only bill you for expenses incurred up to that point.
