Before he was Chef Travis Woodcock, Travis was known around Lake Tahoe as a competitive Freestyle skier (wiki) who competed successfully in many events including the Junior Olympics and Junior Nationals.  In 1998 he took first place at the Junior Nationals in Aerials.  Travis soon became known as “Showtime” for his smooth flips and dizzying spins.  Carrying his athletic focus to the kitchen, Travis puts on a show with his strong command of gourmet culinary techniques, efficiency, and easygoing sense of humor.
