Great Food! I have had the pleasure of knowing chef Travis Woodcock for several years. I have on occasion had the fabulous pleasure of getting to try his delicious homemade soups. That in it 'self is a world class treat! Recently my family threw a party for several of our business associates where he and his talented crew catered the event as well as providing a hosted bar including specialty drinks and a knowledgeable bartender. While he employs a top notch crew he is at the helm every step of the way. No detail left behind. His knowledge of food preparation made it a pleasure to create a unique cuisine for this truly wonderful culinary event. From appetizers to dessert everything was prepared and served with the highest quality in mind. EVERYONE RAVED! He was truly the star of the evening! Chef Woodcock will star at many more of my future events!

I have had the opportunity to experience the Chef in Tahoe both as an off-site caterer as well is in a private kitchen. He and his staff are true professionals, with their eye on every detail at all times. From the first call through clean up, nothing is left to chance. The food is unique, consistent, beautiful and most importantly, delicious. The service is first -class. Oh, and the price? It can't be beat. If you are like me, you want to order what you want, and not have a huge hassle. Chef in Tahoe takes care of all the details down to the color of napkins you may want. It is almost as if they can read your mind. The knew what I wanted more than I did. Without hesitation Chef in Tahoe will be my go-to Chef for all my entertaining; both casual and formal from now on. Now I just need to invent an excuse for a party....

I hired Travis (based solely on the recommendations on this site, since we came in from out of town) for a family reunion of 21 people. I was extremely happy with the food and service! Everyone was extremly pleased that not only did none of us have to cook for such a large group while on vacation, we got to enjoy some great food as well! Travis and Christine were very friendly and professional and I highly recommend them!

Our family visited Lake Tahoe this past weekend to celebrate my uncle's 60th birthday. Our rental home had amazing lakefront views which we wanted to take advantage of to the fullest, so we decided to enjoy his special birthday dinner at the house. Thankfully someone recommended Travis' personal chef services. Chef Travis prepared the most amazing dinner for our family. He helped me customize the menu to meet our special requests. Everything on our menu (shrimp ceviche, crab cakes, tomato & basil soup, filet mignon, sea bass, squash and couscous) surpassed our expectations! As a Registered Dietitian and self-proclaimed "foodie", I was so pleased by the high-quality ingredients, healthy preparation and most of all delicious taste! Best of all we were able to celebrate our special evening without worrying about cooking or cleaning up. It turned out to be an amazing night from start to finish. We will definitely be using Chef Travis the next time we vacation in Lake Tahoe!
