Chef in Tahoe is the best! Travis is very professional and the food is amazing! He came and catered a birthday party for 60 people at the beach for us. Travis arrived early and was set up in no time. Travis even went above and beyond and helped to unload my car filled with supplies I had brought to the party. The presentation was great and the food was amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious.

My last year's review of Corky and Travis is above. We had them again for a week in July, our third year in a row, and I underline everything I said before. Their food only gets more delicious every year, as does their willingness to do anything to make our evenings with him better. The children and grandchildren love having them come, too. Chef Travis Woodcock has prepared fabulous meals for my entire family on a number of occasions. I researched many chefs and chose Travis based on his prompt communication, fair pricing, and willingness to customize a menu for our event. Chef Travis helped me to plan a weeks worth of meals for a group of 20 family members during summer 2011 for a family reunion. Most recently Chef Travis prepared a weeks worth of meals for a group of 9 for another family vacation. He worked cooperatively with me to identify meals that included main dishes and sides that would satisfy both adults and children for both week long events. The meals were not only delicious but also included our family favorites. He made a number of suggestions and offered ideas that shaped a week of balanced menus while being flexible and accommodating to our likes and dislikes as well as sensitive to dietary restrictions including allergies. With all the detailed planning that went into preparing both week long events, Chef Travis and Christine appear to work effortlessly. He always arrives on time and incredibly prepared while leaving nothing to chance. Last year I was unsure if the BBQ at the house we were staying at worked correctly so Travis actually brought a BBQ with him just in case. This attention to detail left me to feel at ease and relax knowing that everything would be well taken care of. Tables were set, meals prepared and served, and everything was cleaned up perfectly, leaving the kitchen looking better than when they arrived. We had nothing to do but enjoy the food, our surroundings, and one another’s company. Travis is accepting of changes we needed to make both in the menu and number of guests. As he learned more about our group he was able to make some additional suggestions to tweak the menu throughout the week. The food prepared was abundant and delicious. We always had more than enough to eat with some leftovers for the next day. It is obvious that Chef Travis uses very fresh, high quality ingredients. We have enjoyed perfectly cooked cedar plank salmon, pasta with fresh meatballs, marinated tender BBQ chicken, steaks precisely cooked to our individual preference, and southern style crab and shrimp boil with corn and sausage that had everyone going back for more again and again....and again. Chef Travis makes very tasty salad dressings that we loved so much we requested to have a repeat for another meal we had the same week. You wont be disappointed by the side dishes either. After learning of our favorite desserts he prepared cheese cake, berry cobbler, chocolate chip cookies and fresh fruit. I recommend them all. Travis and Christine tend to everyone’s needs. You feel well taken care of. I was so pleased with everything last year that there was no question I would want Chef Travis to plan our event this year. I highly recommend Chef Travis and Christine. You will not be disappointed. When planning an event you will be able to customize services to your needs. If you are traveling to Tahoe and need to plan your event long distance you will still feel confident. Travis and Christine will maintain good communication and be available to answer all questions. I felt that that the pricing was very fair and Chef Travis never skimps on quality or quantity.

Chef Travis was our personal chef for our 10 day stay at Northstar. Preparing amazing dinners each night, with sumptuous food of the highest quality. His use of seasoning, spices, and sauces, were amazing. His pursuit of perfection is only outdone by his personal service. We had our choice of several Chefs, however, Chef Travis truly cooks to your tastes. We had 9 people each day, some with dietary restrictions, and Chef Travis tailored meals for all. In addition, he always made sure that there was Fresh Fruit waiting for you in the morning, and macaroni salad to add to our lunches every day. He found that several of our guests loved chocolate chip cookies, so he baked 2 large batches while preparing our meals. Chef Travis and his assistant Christine, were on time, and completly cleaned the kitchen before they left. You would never know that someone had been there . We can not say enough about the two of them. If you ever have a need for excelence, personalized service, and sumptous food, Chef Travis should be your first Choice
